ALTEK Information Technology, Inc. (ALTEK) is a certified woman-owned, Minority Business Enterprise/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (MBE/DBE), small business founded in 2004 by its President and CEO, Anne Lipman. ALTEK has grown as a viable, well-capitalized business with a strong reputation for providing responsive IT services and solutions to both government and commercial customers. Our leadership team has a demonstrated record of success with over 50 years of combined experience in IT consulting, staffing, and solutions delivery with Fortune 500 companies and federal government agencies.

Although ALTEK supports commercial clients in a wide range of industries, our primary focus is in Healthcare Information Technology and financial related systems and technologies. Our capabilities include consulting services, project management, full lifecycle application development, analysis, systems architecture & design, operations, and infrastructure support. ALTEK has also worked with large government integration firms in support of Homeland Security, Health and Human Services (HHS), as well as state and local government projects.

Local Impact

All of us at ALTEK feel strongly about giving back to our community. ALTEK is a corporate sponsor for the Frederick Rescue Mission which meets the needs of the homeless, needy, and chemical dependent citizens of our area. ALTEK is a corporate sponsor of the Heartly House. The Heartly House serves Frederick County residents who have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. We are also active sponsors for the American Diabetes Association, The Juvenile Diabetes Association, the United Way and various other charities.
