ALTEK’s philosophy is to find the highest qualified candidate at the lowest possible cost. We focus on delivery and quality through a Recruiting Center of Excellence. Our Full Service Desk (FSD) makes the recruitment and retention of the highest qualified technical candidates possible. Our FSD recruitment process takes the clients needs from definition through sourcing, qualifying, submitting, interviewing, on-boarding, maintaining and ultimately off-boarding.

Formulate: We evaluate and define the requirement, placement type and respective technologies required for the opening/vacancy. The requirement is then assigned to a Senior Recruiter, posted on all major job boards, and then prioritized based on urgency/SLA. Our Senior Recruiters immediately begin sourcing for both internal and external candidates.

Secure: When ALTEK identifies a potential candidate we move to the securing phase. Here we secure candidates through ALTEK’s intensive screening of our Six Key Elements. Best practices include utilizing Behavioral Event Interviewing questions and in-depth technical screening by ALTEK staff members with Subject Matter Expertise. Once thoroughly vetted we determine if they are the right fit for our client’s organizational culture and requirements.

Deliver: We deliver the resource prepared and ready for work, our onboarding process includes solidifying contracts, completing new hire paperwork and ensuring background/drug screens are completed. New hires are provided with client specific orientation to ensure that they quickly acclimate to both the environment and culture. First day details are confirmed and when applicable candidates are escorted on-site for their first day. Communication is maintained throughout the life of the engagement. Feedback is elicited from both the candidate and hiring manager to ensure that all parties are satisfied. ALTEK’s goal is to establish long term relationships with both our candidates and clients.

ALTEK’s “Six Key Elements” of a successful placement are; Technical and Soft Skills, Rate/Salary, Location, Duration, Interest Level and Availability.

Each element is thoroughly vetted throughout our interview process. Screening starts with our Senior Technical Recruiters who are trained in Healthcare IT. Specific niche technical skills are assessed by ALTEK staff members with Subject Matter Expertise within the domain. We draw from a database of screening questions and technical tests as well as online assessments and testing to ensure proficiency.
